CFER BOARD MEMBER SALARIES

ASK YOURSELF: What has the current board done for YOU — the AVERAGE MEMBER — to justify a combined salary of $196,568 of YOUR union dues?

Why is $39,226 going to a man who does NOT even live in this state and cannot personally represent you when you need help?
How does THAT make sense?
How does THAT serve the membership?

And now look at what the 2024 DOL LM-2 reveals — the numbers THEY hope you never read:

OUR UNION SPENT $167,961

on General Overhead, Union Administration, Contributions, Gifts, and Grants.
To WHO? For WHAT? WHY?

Here’s where YOUR money went:

  • $11,651 in “Gifts and Grants” — given to union officers as part of their salary.
    (LM-2 Page 18, Schedule 17)
  • $9,757 more given to union officers under “General Overhead” — again counted as part of their salary.
    (LM-2 Page 18, Schedule 18)
  • $28,395 more to union officers — also treated as part of their salary.
  • And $24,976 in “Other disbursements” to WHO EXACTLY? For WHAT PURPOSE?
    (LM-2 Page 18, Section 19)

YOUR dues. THEIR payouts. ZERO transparency.

So let’s ask the REAL questions:

**WHERE ARE THE RECEIPTS?

WHERE ARE THE DOCUMENTED HOURS?
WHERE IS THE PROOF OF SERVICE TO JUSTIFY THESE PAYCHECKS?**

Because YOU — the dues-paying member — have to justify your time every day at work.

THEY apparently don’t.

And what do YOU receive for all this?

A Christmas Party
A Summer Picnic
at a location with NO beach,
not central, not convenient,
and not planned with the membership in mind.

This is what they give you while THEY collect salaries padded with “gifts,” “overhead,” and “other disbursements.”

**Is THIS what leadership looks like?

Is THIS what transparency looks like?
Is THIS what YOUR dues should be paying for?**

Because the current board seems to think so.

The members deserve answers — and they deserve better.

THIS IS just WHAT 2024 looks like but 2023 is EVEN WORSE!!!

TTHE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR UNION BOARD’S PAYCHECKS

The 5 Current Union Board Members in 2023 collected a combined salary of:

💥 $270,463 💥

FOR WHAT?

15 arbitrations?
That’s what YOU — the dues-paying members — got in return?

🔥 BREAKDOWN OF THEIR “WORK” HOURS THEY CLAIMED

Union President: OVER $103,000 in union salary

  • $48,630 of that was reimbursed wages from Paragon
    — meaning she claimed 1045.8 hours of “union work” instead of working her post.

1045.8 HOURS = OVER 6 MONTHS OFF POST.

And we ALL know that did NOT happen.

Funches

  • Took $7,872 in reimbursed wages
  • That equals 196.3 hours NOT working at her post

Bryan Davis

  • Took $22,500 in reimbursed wages
  • That equals 483.9 hours NOT working on post

Crystal Cobin

  • Took $23,911 in reimbursed wages
  • That equals 514.2 hours NOT working on post

AND THE BIGGEST INSULT…

Vice-President Jennings

Hand-selected by Carrie Upshaw.

Collected $12,195 in reimbursed wages…

…and he DIDN’T EVEN LIVE IN THE AREA

and DID NOT WORK ON OUR CONTRACT.

Let that sink in.

❗ YOUR DUES PAID FOR THIS.

❗ THEY WERE NOT ON POST.

❗ THEY WERE NOT REPRESENTING YOU.

And they think this is acceptable.

They think YOU won’t look at the LM-2.

They think YOU won’t question the numbers.

They think YOU won’t hold them accountable.

**THE MEMBERS KNOW BETTER.
